Product Detail

This OLM A1 carbon fiber hood scoop is a perfect fit for 2015 - 2021 WRX and STI models. It's a full replacement for your OEM hood scoop. Crafted from hand - laid dry carbon fiber, it offers a great look and performance. You'll need to remove the OEM scoop by popping clips under the hood and taking off a few nuts on the front. The scoop comes with 3M tape for a secure edge fit. After installation, use silicon sealant around it to prevent water from getting under. Before installing, always clean the back of the scoop and the hood area with rubbing alcohol. Re - install the black plastic trim under the hood to direct air to the intercooler.

Using this hood scoop is simple. First, for 2015 - 2021 WRX and STI models, take out your original hood scoop. Pop the clips under the hood and remove the nuts on the front of the scoop. Then, clean the back of the new scoop and the hood area with rubbing alcohol. Attach the scoop using the provided 3M tape along the edges for a good hold. After that, apply silicon sealant around the scoop to keep water out. When you're done, put the black plastic trim back under the hood. This helps direct air to the intercooler. As for maintenance, keep the scoop clean. You can use a mild cleaner to wipe it down. Avoid using harsh chemicals that might damage the carbon fiber. Check the silicon sealant and 3M tape regularly to make sure they're still in good condition. If you notice any looseness, re - apply the tape or sealant as needed.
