Using your StopTech brake kit is easy. First, make sure you've verified the pad fitment according to the build date of your 2002 Subaru WRX. You can do this by checking the VIN plate in the driver’s side door jam. If your car was built between 10/02 - 12/02, compare your existing pad shape with our online photos. Once you've confirmed the fit, you can replace your old brake pads, rotors, and brake lines with the components in the kit. The kit includes 4 sport slotted/drilled brake rotors (2 front and 2 rear), 4 stainless - steel brake lines (2 front and 2 rear), and 4 sport brake pads (2 front and 2 rear). When it comes to maintenance, keep an eye on the brake pads for wear. The slotted and drilled rotors are designed to handle heat well, but it's still a good idea to check them regularly, especially after long drives or track use. Also, make sure the brake lines are in good condition and there's no sign of swelling or pressure loss. Remember, this kit is mainly for performance street driving and light - duty track use, so don't push it too hard in extreme racing conditions. And be aware that the brake pads may produce a relatively high level of dust, but that's normal for high - performance brakes.
