Product Detail

VH090866. Fitment: This radiator is designed specifically for the 2002 Subaru WRX with Manual Transmission. Note that it does not fit 2003 - 2007 models. Specifications: It's a full aluminum radiator without a filler neck. The core depth is 1.42 inches, the core height is 13.39 inches, the core width is 26.5 inches, and it weighs 11.9 pounds. Features: It offers true plug - and - play installation, so you don't need to modify the engine and it keeps the mounts for stock fan shrouds and fans. The hand - crafted heliarc welds make the aluminum connections stronger. All Koyorad Hyper V - Series All Aluminum Radiators use Nocolok brazing. They are perfect for vehicles facing extreme heat, with limited space, and where factory inlet/outlet locations don't allow for a proper N - FLO design. The specially designed fin and tube pitch increase the surface area while ensuring great air circulation. For automatic transmission owners, this radiator doesn't have an internal transmission cooler. You'll need to buy an auxiliary transmission cooler if you want to install it in your car.

Using this radiator is quite straightforward. Since it's a plug - and - play design, you can install it without modifying your engine. Just make sure it's the right fit for your 2002 Subaru WRX with manual transmission. If you have an automatic transmission, remember to get an auxiliary transmission cooler. When installing, keep the original mounts for the stock fan shrouds and fans. As for maintenance, regularly check the radiator for any signs of leaks or damage. Also, make sure the coolant level is appropriate. You can clean the radiator fins gently to ensure good air circulation. If you notice any issues like overheating or reduced performance, it might be time to have it inspected by a professional.
