Part #: SUSH18 - C. This 1 - piece carbon fiber driveshaft for 2015+ Subaru WRX is a 2.75' shaft. It has larger, replaceable u - joints and can handle up to 850WHP and 180 MPH. We custom - wound the tubing with high - modulus fiber for strength and a compact size to fit under the car. You can use all factory shields, plates, and covers without modifying the car. The shaft ends are made of 6061 - T6 aluminum and it weighs only 14.5 lbs. It makes the car more responsive and reduces noise. Removing the factory 2 - piece shaft and installing this single shaft gives a lighter setup and no hanger - bearing movement during acceleration. Using this driveshaft is easy. First, remove the factory 2 - piece shaft from your 2015+ Subaru WRX. Then, install the single 1 - piece carbon fiber driveshaft. All the factory shields, plates, and covers can be used as they are, so no need to change the car's setup. When it comes to maintenance, keep an eye on the replaceable u - joints. Check them regularly for wear and tear. Also, make sure the shaft is clean and free from debris. Avoid over - revving the engine beyond the 850WHP limit or driving over 180 MPH, as it may damage the driveshaft.
