Product Detail

ACL's main bearings are crafted from a softer metal. This helps protect your crank and engine block from wear. A thin oil layer lubricates the bearings and the crank, letting the crank 'float' and reducing wear. Proper support from these bearings is vital to prevent oscillations and wear that can harm the crankshaft and other parts as the engine goes out of balance. Bearings with extra oil clearance can handle the stress of high - horsepower motors better, but they'll experience more wear during startup. These are recommended for experienced professionals only. Note that Subaru main bearings are for either #5 or #3 journal bearing positions. This position isn't related to VIN or year, and you must know it before buying. Engine internal components can't be exchanged or returned, so be sure about your needs.

How to use: Install these main bearings carefully in the correct journal bearing position (either #5 or #3) in your Subaru Turbo WRX or STI engine. Make sure to apply a thin layer of oil to the bearings before installation to ensure smooth operation. Notes: Only experienced professionals should purchase and install these bearings. You need to know the correct journal bearing position before buying as engine internal parts can't be returned. Maintenance advice: Regularly check the oil level and quality. Since bearings with extra oil clearance may wear more during startup, keep an eye on their condition. If you notice any unusual noises or vibrations from the engine, it's a good idea to have the bearings inspected.
