Product Detail

Fitment: This engine mount bushing set fits 2002 - 2021 Subaru WRX, 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI, 2004 - 2013 Subaru Forester XT, and 2005 - 2012 Subaru Legacy GT. Features: Specifically designed for IAG Subaru EJ engine mounts. You can swap bushings for street or track use. The kit comes with eight 90A durometer bushings, stiffer than the 75A Street Series ones. These 90A bushings significantly reduce forward - backward movement of the transmission and engine during hard acceleration. However, due to the higher durometer, you'll notice more NVH inside the car. What's Included: The package includes eight Competition Series Red 90A Durometer Bushings. Please note: Pins are not included. You can reuse your original pins or buy them separately. Pins are required when switching from a Race Series engine mount with solid bushings.

Using this engine mount bushing set is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is one of the compatible Subaru models (2002 - 2021 WRX, 2004 - 2021 STI, 2004 - 2013 Forester XT, or 2005 - 2012 Legacy GT). If you're swapping from a Race Series engine mount with solid bushings, you'll need pins, which aren't included in the set. You can either reuse the original pins or buy new ones. When installing, carefully place the eight 90A durometer bushings in the right spots. Remember, because these bushings are stiffer, you'll feel more noise, vibration, and harshness inside the car. For maintenance, regularly check the bushings for any signs of wear and tear. If you notice any damage, it's best to replace them as soon as possible to keep your engine mount working well.
