This IAG Performance Street Series Oil Pan is a must - have for Subaru WRX, STI, Legacy GT, and Forester XT owners. It fits Subaru WRX from 2002 to 2014, STI from 2004 to 2021, Legacy GT from 2005 to 2009, and Forester XT from 2004 to 2013. Uniquely designed and CNC machined, it's suitable for a wide range of street and track applications. The cast aluminum oil pan is designed with larger header fitment in mind and can increase oil capacity by up to 30% compared to the OEM. The integrated stainless - steel Street Series Oil Baffle stops oil sloshing and cavitation, preventing oil starvation. It's removable for easy cleaning and future upgrades. The box includes an IAG Cast Aluminum Oil Pan with machined flanges, cooling fins and a black finish, an IAG Street Series Oil Pan Baffle, all necessary mounting and baffle hardware packs, an Oil Pickup Spacer Kit, an M20 Zinc Plated Oil Drain Plug with an OEM style crush washer/gasket, a 1/8' NPT Zinc Plated Plug, an Oil Pan O - ring, and two Oil Pan Dipstick Viton OEM Sized O - rings. The pan works with IAG, Killer B, and OEM oil pickups. The IAG oil pickup spacer is required for IAG or Killer B pickups. It's compatible with IAG's Oil Control Baffle and Windage Tray. However, it doesn't work with the Moroso Oil Pickup. The design has cooling fins to dissipate heat, an integrated oil drain plug at the bottom for complete oil removal, and a 1/8th inch NPT port for oil temperature sensors. The upper flange has a CNC - machined surface and a sealing O - ring for easy installation and removal. The dipstick uses included OEM style Viton o - rings with a special chamfer for easy installation.
Using this oil pan is straightforward. First, make sure to gather all the components from the box, including the oil pan, baffle, and all the hardware. When installing, if you're using the IAG or Killer B oil pickup, don't forget to use the included IAG oil pickup spacer. The pan is designed to work well with IAG, Killer B, and OEM oil pickups, but it won't work with the Moroso Oil Pickup. For maintenance, the removable oil baffle makes it easy to clean the inside of the pan. The oil drain plug at the bottom of the pan ensures that all the waste oil can be removed during oil changes. The integrated 1/8th inch NPT port can be used to install an oil temperature sensor if you want. Just remember to use the included 1/8th inch NPT plug if you're not using the sensor port. Also, the sealing O - ring on the upper flange and the special dipstick o - rings are there to make installation and removal hassle - free.
