To install this spoiler, first, clean the application area well. Make sure it's free from dust, debris, wax, and hasn't been freshly ceramic coated. The 3M adhesive used for installation requires a temperature between 70 - 80 degrees. It forms a solid bond after 24 hours and a full bond after 72 hours. Before starting the actual install, have someone help you test fit the spoiler and note the proper position. Then, apply 3M to the spoiler and remove the ends of the 3M backing tape, leaving enough so you can pull it out later. Reposition the spoiler correctly, double - check bolt alignment, and start the bolts but don't tighten them yet. Remove all of the 3M backing tape, press down firmly on the spoiler for 30 seconds along each section. Open the trunk, finish tightening the bolts, and reassemble the trunk cover. For maintenance, keep the spoiler clean with regular car washes. Avoid using harsh chemicals that might damage the paint finish.
