Installation
First, clean the application area well. Make sure it's free of dust, debris, wax, and hasn't been freshly ceramic coated. You can install this spoiler using just the 3M adhesive.
The 3M adhesive works best at temperatures between 70 - 80 degrees. It forms a solid bond after 24 hours and a full bond after 72 hours.
Get someone to help you test - fit the spoiler before starting the actual install. Note the correct position. Then, apply the 3M to the spoiler and remove the ends of the backing tape. Leave enough exposed so you can pull it out once the spoiler is in place.
Put the spoiler back in the correct position, double - check the bolt alignment, and start the bolts but don't tighten them yet. Remove all the 3M backing tape. Press the spoiler firmly for 30 seconds along each section. Open the trunk, finish tightening the bolts, and reassemble the trunk cover.
