You can wet the back of the vinyl, even adding a bit of soap, which allows you to adjust its position easily but makes it less sticky until it dries completely. Or you can do a dry installation by starting at one corner and slowly applying the stripe across the grille until you reach the other corner.

Using these grille pinstripes is easy. First, clean the grille surface. You can choose between wet or dry installation. For wet installation, wet the back of the vinyl with a bit of soapy water. This gives you time to slide the vinyl around on the grille to get the perfect position. But remember, it won't stick well until it dries. For dry installation, just start at a corner and slowly apply the stripe across the grille. As for maintenance, keep the grille clean. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they can damage the pinstripes.
