PERRIN boost tubes are CNC mandrel - bent from aluminum tubing, which helps in reducing weight. Each boost tube has an oversized beaded end to keep the hose clamps and couplers well - connected and sealed. We've chosen the smoothest and shortest path for air to flow to and from the intercooler.
Right from the turbo, a smooth offset coupler takes the hot - side air charge to a well - matched 2.25” boost tube. The 2.25' tubing offers smooth, clean, and obstruction - free routing and can handle more WHP than most turbos can produce. The air charge then goes through the engine bay near the battery, behind the radiator, and to the intercooler. The cold - side boost tubes are placed high in the engine compartment to clear all turbo and intake combinations on its way to the throttle body through the engine bay.
