Product Detail

Fitment: This intercooler core is specifically designed for 2011 - 2014 Subaru WRX and STI models. It's a great option if you already have existing piping or need a custom - routed setup and want to boost the cooling capacity of your vehicle. Features: The core measures 30' x 10.35' x 3.5' and is a bar - and - plate design in a sleek black color. It comes with cast end tanks featuring the COBB logo. A black heat - dissipating coating helps keep things cool. There's also a coated mounting beam included. Installation might be a bit tricky, but an installation guide is provided. Note that this is just the core, and intercooler pipes are not part of the package. The factory top - mount intercooler often gets overworked and overheated due to its size and location, leading to a rise in intake air temperatures and a loss of power. Replace it with the COBB Tuning Front Mount Intercooler to ensure your engine gets the coolest air possible and more power!

Using your COBB Front Mount Intercooler Core is straightforward. First, refer to the installation guide provided. It might be a tough job, so if you're not confident, consider getting help from a professional. Once installed, the intercooler will start doing its job of cooling the air going into your engine, giving you more power. As for maintenance, regularly check the intercooler for any signs of damage, like dents or leaks. Keep the black heat - dissipating coating clean by gently washing it with mild soap and water. Avoid using abrasive materials that could scratch the coating. Also, check the mounting beam and end tanks periodically to make sure they're secure. If you notice any issues, contact COBB Tuning for assistance.
