Each shift knob is precision-machined from Delrin/Duracon, a super-durable thermoplastic, in Minnesota. It weighs just 120g, much lighter than its stainless-steel alternative. The base of each knob features laser-etched GrimmSpeed logos. Its hybrid design ensures a comfortable grip whether you drive with an overhand or side grip style. These shift knobs fit 6-speed transmissions right out of the box. For 5-speed shifters, you can add our Shift Boot Retainer (Part number 038008), available via the drop-down menu. The Shift Boot Retainer is also sold separately.
Using this shift knob is easy. Just install it on your Subaru's 5-speed or 6-speed manual transmission. If you have a 5-speed shifter and want to hold up the shift boot, don't forget to add the Shift Boot Retainer to your order. As for maintenance, simply wipe it with a soft cloth to keep it clean. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they may damage the Delrin material. When installing, make sure it's tightly secured to prevent any looseness during driving.
