Using this Perrin Shifter Stop Upgrade is a breeze. First, gather the included M6x25 Socket Cap Screws and M4 Short Arm Hex Key. Then, follow the installation instructions provided. It should take around 45 minutes to complete the installation. You don't need any special tools, so you can do it yourself. Once installed, you'll immediately notice a difference in the shift feel, with less vertical slop and reduced movement. As for maintenance, since it's made of 6061 - T6 Aluminum with a red anodized finish, it's quite durable. But you can periodically check the screws to make sure they're tight.
