Product Detail

This Perrin Front Strut Bar in Wrinkle Black is a must - have for your vehicle. It fits 2002 - 2007 Subaru WRX, 2004 - 2007 Subaru STI, and 2004 - 2008 Forester XT. The strut feet are made of machined aluminum and finished in black anodize. The bar is crafted from mandrel - bent thin - wall 4130 Cro - Moly tubing and powder - coated in wrinkle black. Included in the package are a PERRIN Strut Tower Brace bar, left and right strut mounting feet, a PERRIN License Plate Frame, mounting hardware, and warranty & instructions. Note that it may press tight against the firewall plastic on 2014 - 2016 Forester & Forester XT. It's designed for OEM Top Mount Intercoolers and may not fit aftermarket ones, and we can't accept returns for incompatible braces.

Using this Perrin Front Strut Bar is easy. First, gather all the included parts: the strut tower brace bar, left and right mounting feet, license plate frame, mounting hardware, and instructions. Refer to the instructions to install the strut bar on your vehicle. Make sure to follow the steps carefully. When installing, be aware that on 2014 - 2016 Forester and Forester XT, it may press tight against the firewall plastic. Also, this bar is designed to work with the OEM Top Mount Intercooler. If you have an aftermarket intercooler, it might not fit. Don't try to force it. As for maintenance, keep it clean. You can use a mild soap and water solution to clean the bar and the mounting feet. Check the mounting hardware regularly to make sure it's tight. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, contact the manufacturer for advice.
