Product Detail

Part #: MSI - MSISUB02 - 18 - 001. These adjustable front upper mounts are crafted with advanced machining techniques. Their unique design sets a new market standard. You can easily adjust them from left to right using fixed reference points. Just add or remove one setting, and both sides will match perfectly, eliminating the need for precise measuring and clamping. The custom - made pillow ball bearings are tough enough for off - road racing and rally competitions. They have tight tolerances, so there are no annoying clunking sounds. These mounts work for both GC and GD chassis Imprezas, with clearly marked mounting holes for each side and chassis type. All parts are made of T6 - 6061 aluminum using 5 - axis CNC machining and feature graphite - impregnated bushings. The bolt holes are made with 'thread forming' technology, creating smooth threads and reducing the risk of adjustment bolts seizing. They fit OEM front struts/shocks and coilovers with a M12x1.25 thread pitch for the top hat bolt.

Using these Mooresport adjustable front upper mounts is easy. First, identify the chassis type of your Subaru (GC or GD) and use the marked mounting holes for the correct side. You can adjust the mounts by simply adding or removing one setting from the fixed reference points on each side. When installing, make sure to align the parts properly with the OEM front struts or coilovers that have a M12x1.25 thread pitch for the top hat bolt. As for maintenance, keep the mounts clean and check the bolts regularly for tightness. Since they're made of high - quality materials, they can withstand a lot, but avoid extreme off - road conditions if possible to extend their lifespan. Also, listen for any unusual sounds like clunking, which could indicate an issue with the pillow ball bearings or bolts.
