Product Detail

Part #: ACR - 1790. The Action Clutch stage 3 clutch kit comes with a sprung hub that offers moderate dampening. This makes it far more suitable for street use compared to a solid disc design. It features a bit more pedal pressure, aggressive engagement, fast heat dissipation, and excellent holding capacity. Key features include suitability for street and medium - track use, a single diaphragm ceramic clutch system, a 170% increase in holding capacity, and a light/medium pedal feel with aggressive engagement. It has a single diaphragm heavy - duty pressure plate with reinforced drive straps for long - lasting durability. The MIBA ceramic clutch disc is designed for low/mild horsepower vehicles. It's great for heavy - duty street driving and frequent racing on drag, road, or drift tracks. You can choose between 6 - puck and 4 - puck discs. Note that some clutch chatter and increased gear rattle are normal with these clutch kits.

Using this Action Clutch stage 3 clutch kit is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is the right model (2002 - 2005 Subaru WRX). Install the clutch kit as per the included instructions. When you're driving, expect a bit more pedal pressure than usual, but the aggressive engagement will give you a great start. For heat dissipation, just drive normally, and the clutch will handle it well. As for maintenance, check the clutch regularly for any signs of wear. If you notice excessive clutch chatter or gear rattle, it's not necessarily a problem as it's normal for this type of clutch kit. However, if the issue gets worse, it's a good idea to have a professional take a look. Also, avoid sudden and extreme pressure on the clutch to prolong its lifespan.
