Product Detail

Part #: ACR - 1814. The Action Clutch stage 6 clutch kit is a high - performance solution. It has an unsprung hub, making it super lightweight and offering instant engagement. The iron buttons boost its power - handling capacity. You'll notice a big increase in pedal pressure, an aggressive grab when engaging, fast heat release, and excellent holding strength. This kit is perfect for race applications and heavy track use. It features a single diaphragm *RIGID* iron puck clutch system, with a 200 - 400% increase in holding capacity. The pedal feel is heavy with an aggressive engagement. It comes with a dual clamp load heavy - duty pressure plate, a 6 or 4 - Puck Iron puck *RIGID* disc, and is engineered for high - horsepower race cars. Using an iron - formulated clutch disc increases torque capacity. Note that clutch chatter and increased gear rattle are normal, and it's not for daily driving.

Using this Action Clutch ACR - 1814 Stage 6 2MD clutch kit is straightforward. When you're in a race or on the track, you'll notice the instant engagement as you press the clutch pedal. But be aware that the pedal pressure is heavy, so you'll need a bit of force. Since it's designed for high - performance use, it's not suitable for daily driving. If you use it on the road regularly, it may wear out faster and cause discomfort. For maintenance, check the clutch components regularly for signs of wear, like the iron buttons and the disc. If you notice excessive wear or if the clutch chatter becomes too loud, it might be time to get some parts replaced. Keep in mind that normal clutch chatter and increased gear rattle are just part of how this high - performance clutch works.
