Product Detail

Part #: ACR - 1793. The Action Clutch stage 6 clutch kit is a high - performance option. It has an unsprung hub, which makes it super lightweight and enables instant engagement. The iron buttons in this kit boost the power capacity. This clutch offers a big jump in pedal pressure, an aggressive engagement feel, fast heat dissipation, and excellent holding power. Features: Ideal for race applications and heavy track use. It's a single diaphragm *RIGID* clutch system with iron pucks. You'll get a 200 - 400% increase in holding capacity. The pedal feel is heavy with an aggressive engagement. It comes with a dual clamp load heavy - duty pressure plate, a 6 or 4 - Puck Iron puck *RIGID* disc, and is engineered for high - horsepower race vehicles. Using an iron - formulated clutch disc increases the torque capacity. Note that clutch chatter and increased gear rattle are normal for this type of kit, and it's not suitable for daily driving.

Using this Action Clutch stage 6 kit is straightforward. Just install it as you would with a regular clutch kit following your vehicle's manual. Since it has an aggressive engagement, be ready for a stiffer pedal feel when you start using it. When driving, especially during heavy acceleration, you'll notice the excellent holding capacity. However, because of its design, some clutch chatter and gear rattle are normal. Don't be alarmed by these sounds. This clutch kit is not meant for daily use. If you're using it on the track, make sure to check the clutch and related components before each race. Keep an eye on the heat dissipation. If you notice the clutch getting too hot, give it some time to cool down. For maintenance, regularly inspect the iron buttons and the pressure plate for any signs of wear. If you see excessive wear, it might be time to replace the relevant parts.
