Product Detail

Part #: ACR - 1794. The Action Clutch Ironman Clutch Kit, recognized as the product of the year at Action, is a top - notch choice. It has been rigorously tested and can handle over 550 horsepower. This kit features a single dual - clamp diaphragm iron puck clutch system, perfect for race applications and heavy track use. It offers an increased holding capacity designed specifically for track - only use. The pedal feel is heavy yet provides smooth engagement. It has an impressive holding capacity for a single - plate clutch, is strictly for track applications, and should be used with Action Steel Flywheels. The engagement is an on - or - off type clutch, and it's made of the American Sintered Iron Formula. Note that there's no clutch chatter but some light engagement noise and increased gear rattle, and it's not recommended for daily use.

Using this Action Clutch Ironman Clutch Kit is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is a Subaru WRX from 2002 - 2005 and that you pair it with Action Steel Flywheels as recommended. When installing, follow the standard clutch installation procedures. When you're on the track, you'll notice its smooth engagement despite the heavy pedal feel. Just be aware that there might be some light engagement noise and increased gear rattle, but there won't be any clutch chatter. This kit is strictly for track use, so don't use it for your daily driving. For maintenance, after each track session, it's a good idea to check the clutch components for any signs of wear. If you notice any issues or abnormal behavior, have it inspected by a professional mechanic.
