Subtle Solutions Alternator Cover Subaru WRX 02-14 / STI 04-21 - Brushed | ENG-1000-BRU

Enhance your engine bay's look with the Subtle Solutions Alternator Cover. It's a direct replacement for the factory plastic cover. This cover fits 2002 - 2014 Subaru WRX, 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI, 2005 - 2009 Legacy GT (with OEM STI bracket only), 2004 - 2013 Forester XT (2009 - 2013 with OEM STI bracket only), and 2005 - 2009 Outback XT. Note that it won't fit the 2011 - 2013 FB25 non - turbo motor. The cover features a brushed color, is CAD designed, CNC pressed and laser cut. It's made of 304 stainless steel with anodized (black) aluminum standoffs and washers. All install hardware (bolts/washers) is included, and it's proudly made in the USA. Using this alternator cover is easy. First, make sure to buy the Subaru OEM STI Power Steering Belt Cover Bracket separately if your vehicle requires it. Before installing the hardware that comes with the alternator cover, remove the rubber bushing on the bracket. For the passenger side, install the tall spacer with the bolt and washer through the stock Subaru oem bracket attached to the power steering pump. On the driver side (alternator), use the Subaru OEM STI bracket to install the shorter spacer and hardware with the clip nut. As for maintenance, since it's made of 304 stainless steel with a powder - coated finish, a simple wipe with a clean cloth regularly will keep it looking great. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. And always check the hardware for tightness to ensure a secure fit.
