The OBD cable goes underneath the dock into the dash, staying hidden and out of the way. The included adapters are super handy. Using this Accessport Mount is easy. First, remove your driver - side defrost vent and replace it with this mount. Place your Cobb AP device on the mount, and the magnetic backing will hold it firmly. Feed the OBD cable under the dock and into the dash. When it comes to the adapters, use them to pinch the tabs and hold the cable end in place. As for maintenance, just wipe it with a dry cloth occasionally to keep it clean. Remember, there's no need to drill or cut during installation, so don't try any unnecessary modifications. Also, be gentle when handling the magnetic parts to avoid damage.
