Fitment Information: This engine mount set fits 2002 - 2007 Subaru WRX, 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI, and 2004 - 2008 Subaru Forester XT. Note that these engine mounts need you to reuse the OEM engine mounting plates. If you don't have them or they're rusted, you'll need to get 1 of each plate with Subaru part numbers 41031VA000 and 41031VA010 for installation. A unique feature of IAG's Engine Mounts is the ability to change bushings. The Competition Series starts with 90A bushings, but you can switch to softer 75A or stiffer race Solid bushings later. Using this engine mount set is quite straightforward. First, make sure you have the necessary OEM engine mounting plates. If not, get the ones with part numbers 41031VA000 and 41031VA010. Then, install the engine mounts according to the standard installation process for your Subaru model. When driving, keep in mind that the 90A durometer bushings are stiffer, so you may notice some extra noise, vibration, and harshness in the cabin. But this also gives you better performance at the track. If you want to change the performance level of your mounts, you can easily purchase a bushing kit and replace the bushings. For maintenance, regularly check the brackets, pins, and hardware for any signs of wear or rust. If you see any issues, clean and lubricate them as needed.
