The factory antenna on your Subaru manually slides into the driver's side A - pillar. When fully extended, it looks really uncool, and most folks don't fully extend it, leading to lousy radio reception. Grimmspeed's antenna delete plate is here to solve that. It removes the factory antenna assembly and neatly covers the exterior opening. If you don't want to ditch your antenna entirely, Grimmspeed also offers a replacement antenna that mounts flush with the inside of the windshield (sold separately). Using the GrimmSpeed Antenna Delete Plate is easy. First, remove the factory antenna assembly from your Subaru WRX/STI (2002 - 2007) or Legacy GT (2005 - 2009). Then, simply install the delete plate to cover the exterior opening. If you choose to keep an antenna, you can buy the replacement option that mounts inside the windshield separately and install it according to the included instructions. As for maintenance, just clean the delete plate with a mild soap and water solution occasionally to keep it looking good. When installing, make sure to handle the parts gently to avoid any damage.
