Regular LED bulbs look good in the reflector but don't emit much useful light, even less than the stock 19w bulb. OLM's bulb offers higher output and a whiter light. Most users don't just use fog lights for foggy conditions. Many areas aren't fog - prone, and a lot of drivers can benefit from these as driving lights. More light on the ground during normal driving enhances a driver's and others' situational awareness. The light base is adjustable to change the focal length for the best output. The heat sink is reversible to fit different applications. Install the bulbs as a pair into the compatible fog light housings like OEM, glass replacement, or OLM Bi Xenon Projector ones. If your car is a 2015 - 2021 Subaru WRX/STI, it's a great fit, but don't use it if your car is for the Australian market as the housing design might cause interference. For Crosstrek owners, if you have steering response fog lights (SRF), you're good to go. Without SRF, you'll need to buy the lamp assemblies to modify your light to an H11 socket. You can adjust the base of the light to change the focal length for the best light output, and if needed, reverse the heat sink to fit your vehicle's requirements. As for maintenance, keep the bulbs clean from dirt and debris. Wipe them gently with a soft cloth. They come with a 1 - year warranty, and they have an IP67 rating, so they can handle a bit of water and dust.
