Product Detail

Fitment: 2022 - 2025 Subaru WRX. This Verus Engineering Hood Louver Kit is a game - changer. It effectively cuts down engine bay heat and pressure. By enhancing the airflow out of the engine bay and through the radiator and charge air cooler (if FMIC - equipped), it boosts cooling stack efficiency. Reducing engine bay pressure also lessens front - end lift, giving a little extra front - end downforce. It even helps the TMIC work better. Designed for the OEM hood, these louvers are lightweight. Verus used scan data and CFD to place them in a low - pressure area on the hood, following the hood's contours for maximum air evacuation. Ideal for Subaru WRX (VB) owners wanting to improve their vehicle's cooling and aerodynamics. Features include: pressure and temperature reduction under the hood, bare/raw aluminum construction, 0.063 - inch thick 6061 aluminum, CNC laser - cut, CFD - tested placement, stainless - steel flush clinch studs and serrated nuts for easy vent removal, included wickers, and made in the U.S.A. What's included: (1) right hood louver, (1) left hood louver, (1) right wicker, (1) left wicker, (2) cut - out install templates, a small Verus vinyl sticker, and an install hardware kit. WARNING: (http://www.p65warnings.ca.gov)

Using this Verus Hood Louver Kit is easy. First, grab the install hardware kit and the cut - out install templates included in the package. Use the templates to mark where you need to cut on your Subaru WRX's OEM hood. Then, carefully cut out the marked areas. Next, install the right and left hood louvers using the hardware provided. Attach the wickers to the louvers. The stainless - steel flush clinch studs and serrated nuts make it simple to install and also allow you to remove the vents easily for cleaning. As for maintenance, it's a good idea to clean the louvers regularly. Since they're made of bare/raw aluminum, they might get dirty over time. You can use a mild cleaner and a soft cloth to wipe them down. Be careful not to scratch the surface. Also, keep an eye on the hardware. Make sure the nuts are tightened properly to prevent any rattling while you're driving. If you notice any signs of damage, such as cracks in the aluminum or loose hardware, get it checked out right away. Remember to follow the warning instructions at http://www.p65warnings.ca.gov.
