Product Detail

Fitment: This rain guard kit is specifically designed for 2008 - 2014 Subaru STI and 2008 - 2014 Subaru WRX. Features: The Verus Engineering Hood Louver Rain Guard Kit is a great addition to your car. It efficiently collects water and dumps it on the radiator, shroud, and fans, keeping the rest of the engine bay dry. Made from 0.063 - thick 5052 Aluminum that's CNC laser - cut and CNC press - brake bent, it has a durable black powder - coat finish. It collects water and directs it forward, away from the engine. Installation is a breeze, and you can easily remove the vents for cleaning. It's proudly made in the USA. What's in the Box: You'll get (1) Left - Hand side Rain Guard, (1) Right - Hand side Rain Guard, and (12) Stainless Serrated Nuts.

Using this Verus Hood Louver Rain Guard Kit is super easy. First, make sure your car is parked in a safe and stable place. Then, take out the left - hand and right - hand rain guards from the box along with the stainless serrated nuts. Install the rain guards according to the provided instructions, which are pretty straightforward. During use, the kit will do its job of collecting water and directing it away from the engine. As for maintenance, periodically remove the vents for cleaning to ensure the water collection and drainage work properly. Just use a mild cleaner and a soft cloth to wipe them down. When cleaning, be careful not to scratch the black powder - coat finish. Also, check the nuts regularly to make sure they're tight. If you notice any damage to the rain guards, it's best to replace them right away to keep your engine bay protected.
