Product Detail
Fitment: This kit is designed for 2008 - 2014 Subaru WRX, 2008 - 2014 Subaru STI, and 2005 - 2009 Subaru Legacy GT. Note: It mounts to the OEM tow hook provision and only fits with the OEM front bumper beam. FMIC kits needing bumper beam removal won't work with this one. Features: License plates on the front of cars are a must, but this GrimmSpeed License Plate Relocation Kit saves your front bumper from looking dull and keeps airflow to your FMIC unblocked. Its unique infinite - adjust design allows for any mounting position and angle adjustment, so you can place it exactly where you like. Mounted in the OEM tow hook location, it offers great support and the widest adjustment range on the market. Made of laser - cut 5052 Aluminum with a powder - coated black finish, the bracket holds your plate firmly and looks sleek and light. Each tow hook adapter is custom - designed, CNC - machined from 12L14 Steel, and treated with black zinc for a perfect, indestructible fit. Other perks include no cutting or drilling, simple stainless steel Allen key hardware, no blockage of FMIC airflow, adjustable to avoid fog light blockage, and adjustments for maximum air flow, plus an indestructible black zinc - coated 12L14 shaft.
Using the GrimmSpeed License Plate Relocation Kit is easy. First, find the OEM tow hook location on your Subaru (fits 2008 - 2014 WRX, 2008 - 2014 STI, and 2005 - 2009 Legacy GT). Then, attach the kit to this location. You don't need to cut or drill anything. The included simple stainless steel Allen key hardware makes the installation a breeze. You can adjust the plate's position and angle to your preference, ensuring it doesn't block the FMIC airflow or the fog lights. Remember, this kit only works with the OEM front bumper beam. If your car has an FMIC kit that requires removing the bumper beam, this relocation kit won't fit. For maintenance, just keep the powder - coated black finish clean. You can wash it with mild soap and water. The black zinc - coated 12L14 shaft is indestructible, but if you notice any signs of wear, it's best to have it checked.
