USDM vehicles didn't come with a rear fog light from the factory, so this kit is a great way to enhance your vehicle's rear lighting. Features: It includes all the necessary parts to mount on a USDM vehicle. There are two modes that you can easily switch from the driver seat. In one mode, the light will blink 15 times every time you press the brake pedal. The other mode functions as a traditional brake light. You can choose to buy it with or without the plug - n - play harness. This harness speeds up the installation process, as the stock wiring harness in the WRX/STI can be difficult to crimp due to the tight space. And if you ever want to revert to the stock setup, it's easy to do with this harness. The harness has OEM - style connectors at both ends, allowing you to install it in - line with the factory wiring. It comes with 3 extensions to connect the aftermarket fog/F1 lights: Black for Ground (-), connect to the black wire on the F1 lamp; Red for Parking/Running Light (+), connect to the blue wire on the F1 - style lamp; Yellow for Brake Light (+), connect to the red wire on the F1 - style lamp.
