Installation: The included bolts work with factory STI holes in the trunk. If you have an OEM spoiler, widen the holes slightly. Bolts aren't mandatory. Seal bare metal to prevent rust. Clean the application area, free of dust, debris, wax, and fresh ceramic coating. You can install the spoiler using just 3M. The 3M requires an installation temperature of 70 - 80 degrees. It forms a solid bond in 24 hours and a full bond in 72 hours. Have someone help test-fit the spoiler before installation. Note the correct position. Apply 3M to the spoiler and expose the ends of the backing tape. Reposition the spoiler, check bolt alignment, and start the bolts without tightening. Remove all the 3M backing tape, press down firmly for 30 seconds along each section. Open the trunk, tighten the bolts, and reassemble the trunk cover.
