Product Detail

Part: # MMTMIC-WRX-15RBK. Mishimoto's Performance Top Mount Intercooler and Charge Pipe System is here to boost your Subaru WRX 2015+. When you start adding a larger exhaust, bigger injectors, and increasing the boost, the factory top mount intercooler can overheat. This new system solves that problem. The Mishimoto core is larger, offering better surface coverage to lower the turbo's charge intake temperatures. After installation, users with a stage 2 tune have seen a power increase of up to +15WHP and +8TWQ, and a 35° temperature drop compared to the factory intercooler. The intercooler core is made of aluminum with durable cast end tanks TIG - welded to the bar and plate core. It comes with a larger air duct designed for proper air flow. The Mishimoto Charge Pipe, crafted from aluminum and powder - coated red, has smooth bends to reduce air turbulence under boost, giving a smooth power transition. The intercooler core has a heat - dissipating powder - coated black finish. This intercooler kit includes silicone couplers, brackets, and hardware, making it ready for easy installation.

Using this Mishimoto intercooler and charge pipe system is easy. First, make sure your Subaru WRX is turned off and cooled down. Then, remove the factory top mount intercooler. Install the Mishimoto intercooler in its place, using the included brackets and hardware. Connect the charge pipe with the silicone couplers. Once everything is securely in place, start your car and check for any air leaks. As for maintenance, regularly inspect the intercooler for any signs of damage or debris. Clean it gently with a soft brush and mild detergent if needed. When driving, avoid hitting large objects that could damage the intercooler. Also, keep an eye on the temperature and power performance. If you notice any changes, it might be time to check the system for issues.
