Product Detail

This Cobb MAP Sensor Adapter is a great upgrade for your Subaru. It fits 2002 - 2007 WRX, 2004 - 2021 STI, and 2004 - 2008 Forester XT models. Crafted from billet aluminum, it has a black anodized finish and a laser - etched 'C' logo. The adapter features 1/8' NPT threads for a simple, leak - free installation of your preferred pressure sensor. An o - ring and hardware are included for a leak - free fit into the throttle body. It's a direct fit and easy to install, with an installation guide provided. Most factory Subarus have 2.5 or 3 bar MAP sensors. If you're aiming for higher boost values, this adapter allows you to use aftermarket sensors with 1/8' NPT threads for accurate measurement and boost control.

Using this Cobb MAP Sensor Adapter is a breeze. First, make sure your Subaru is turned off. Locate the throttle body where the adapter will be installed. Use the included o - ring and hardware to secure the adapter into the throttle body, ensuring a tight and leak - free fit. Then, connect your preferred pressure sensor with 1/8' NPT threads to the adapter. When installing, handle the adapter gently as it's made of billet aluminum. Avoid using excessive force that could damage the threads or the anodized finish. For maintenance, periodically check for any signs of leaks around the adapter and sensor connections. If you notice any issues, tighten the connections carefully. Clean the adapter with a soft cloth to keep the black anodized finish looking good. Also, follow the included installation guide for any specific instructions related to your vehicle model.
