Product Detail

Fitment: This product is a perfect fit for 1992 - 2014 Subaru Impreza, WRX, and STI models. These cars are well - known for their rally - ready performance and are increasingly used in grip racing. When you lower your car for more grip and better handling, the factory - designed kinematics may not work as intended. Wisefab's Subaru Impreza knuckles/uprights are here to solve that problem. They bring the roll center, bumpsteer, and camber curve back to normal, enhancing roll stiffness, handling, and grip. Key Features: 1. Lighter than OEM: It's 2 kg lighter than the original knuckle/upright while still maintaining the necessary strength and stiffness. 2. Quicker Steering: The steering ratio is slightly faster compared to the OEM part. 3. Rollcenter Correction: It offers a - 50mm drop from the knuckle/upright. 4. Multiple Mounting Options: You can use either the 2005 - STI 5x114,3 bolted wheel bearing (28373VA000) or the 2007 - 2013 WRX 5x100 bolted wheel bearing (28373FG000). 5. Bumpsteer Adjustment: Adjust the bumpsteer via washers on the upright. 6. OEM Wheel Speed Sensor: Compatible with both 1992 - 2007 and 2008 - 2013 types, with installation hardware included. 7. CrMo Spherical Rod End: Replaces the OEM tie rod. 8. Shock Adaptor: Comes with an adaptor to fit either STI or WRX shocks. Kit Includes: The kit contains knuckles with hardware, assembled tie rods, and an installation guide. Other Information: This kit assumes the use of coilovers for ride height correction, and you can use the original wheel speed sensor.

Using the Wisefab Front Drop Knuckles is straightforward. First, make sure you have the coilovers installed for ride height correction as this kit assumes their use. Follow the installation guide included in the kit carefully when installing the knuckles with hardware and the assembled tie rods. You can choose the appropriate wheel bearing according to your car model, either the 5x100 or 5x114,3 type. When it comes to the wheel speed sensor, you can use the original one that is compatible with your car's year range. As for adjustment, you can adjust the bumpsteer via the washers on the upright. For maintenance, regularly check the strength and stiffness of the knuckles. Since they are lighter than the OEM parts, be a bit more cautious during inspections. Also, keep an eye on the CrMo spherical rod end and the shock adaptor to ensure they are in good working condition. If you notice any abnormal noises or handling issues, it's a good idea to check these components immediately.
