Product Detail

Fitment Information: This kit is a perfect fit for 2008 - 2021 Subaru WRX and 2008 - 2021 Subaru STI. Features: You know the saying, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Upgrading the rear sway bar and end links can put extra stress on the factory sway bar mount. This bracing is here to solve that problem. It triangulates and strengthens the lower mounting point of the sway bar mount. These COBB powder - coated braces are installed between the lower tab of the rear sway bar bushing mount and the rear inner lower control arm bolts. They add rigidity to the factory sway bar mount, which is prone to cracking, especially when you have an upgraded sway bar. The kit comes with installation hardware, is powder - coated in dark grey, reinforces the sway bar mounting point, and is sold as a pair (one for each side).

Using the COBB Rear Sway Bar Mount Reinforcement Kit is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is on a flat and stable surface. You'll find all the necessary installation hardware in the kit. Start by locating the lower tab of the rear sway bar bushing mount and the rear inner lower control arm bolts on your 2008 - 2021 Subaru WRX or STI. Then, attach the powder - coated braces between these two points. Follow the included instructions carefully for a proper fit. As for maintenance, periodically check the braces for any signs of damage or loose bolts. If you notice the powder - coated finish starting to chip, you can touch it up to prevent rust. When driving, keep in mind that this reinforcement is designed to handle added stress from an upgraded sway bar, but don't push your vehicle beyond its limits. And always remember to have a professional check the installation if you're not completely sure about it.
