Inside, they're insulated with high-temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool and overlaid with a high-temperature mesh. Specifically designed for all stock Subaru WRX/STI turbochargers, they can also fit many aftermarket turbochargers with internal wastegates. Heat tolerance details: Interior Surface - Max Temperature Rating: 2012°F / 1100°C, Continuous Use Limit: 1832°F / 1000°C. Exterior Surface - Direct Contact Limit: 600°F / 316°C, Radiant Heat Limit: 1100°F / 593°C.

To use these turbo blankets, simply install them on your Subaru WRX/STI turbocharger or compatible aftermarket turbocharger with internal wastegates. Make sure they fit snugly. When using, keep in mind the heat tolerance limits. Don't expose the interior surface to temperatures higher than 2012°F / 1100°C or use it continuously above 1832°F / 1000°C. Avoid direct contact with the exterior surface when it's hotter than 600°F / 316°C and keep it away from radiant heat above 1100°F / 593°C. For maintenance, check the blankets regularly for any signs of wear or damage. If there are minor issues, you can try to repair them, but if they're severely damaged, it's best to replace them.
