Product Detail

Upgrading to a larger turbo and supporting mods is an excellent way to boost your vehicle's power. Blouch, a leader in turbo development, builds top - notch turbos. Their new XT - R turbos feature a billet compressor wheel. This wheel optimizes turbo aerodynamics and increases compressor flow in the same inducer geometry, enabling you to generate more horsepower at lower boost pressure. It comes with a 43 lb/min fully machined billet compressor wheel, a high - efficiency Garrett GT turbine wheel, a Garrett GT full ball bearing system, and an 8cm² bolt - on turbine housing. This turbo is suitable for Subaru WRX/STi and can reach 430HP. Specs include a Garrett Ball bearing CHRA, a 56.5mm Turbine Wheel, a 68mm XT Compressor wheel, 43 lbs per min flow, and you can choose an 8cm or 10cm Exhaust housing. The turbo also includes water pipes, an oil feed line, turbine inlet and outlet gaskets, and a ported exhaust housing.

Using this Blouch 18GXT - R turbocharger is a great way to enhance your Subaru WRX or STI's performance. First, make sure your vehicle is turned off and cooled down before installation. Carefully follow the included instructions to attach the turbo, including connecting the water pipes, oil feed line, and fitting the gaskets properly. When using the vehicle, avoid sudden, extreme changes in speed as it can put unnecessary stress on the turbo. For maintenance, regularly check the oil level and quality. The oil is crucial for the ball bearing system. Also, keep an eye on the exhaust housing for any signs of damage or blockage. If you notice any unusual noises or a drop in performance, it's a good idea to have the turbo inspected by a professional.
