Product Detail

Part #: TR-TS1024. Upgrade your Subaru WRX (2002 - 2007) or STI (2004+) with this popular TD05-16G replacement turbocharger featuring a billet compressor wheel. It's a great step up from the factory VF turbo. The billet wheel boosts air flow by at least 10% compared to the standard TD05-16G compressor wheel, leading to higher horsepower. This turbo comes complete with all fittings and gaskets, ready to install right out of the box. It's the ultimate all - around turbo upgrade! Turbo Characteristics: Type: TD05-16G, Bearing: Journal, Flange: Standard Subaru 5 Bolt, Compressor Diameter: Inlet = 48.3 mm | Outlet = 68 mm, Turbine Diameter: Inlet = 56 mm | Outlet = 49.2 mm, Turbo Boost: 1.3 bar / 19 PSI, Maximum Power: 400 HP. Kit Contents: Turbocharger, Actuator, Oil Pipe, Water Pipe, Gaskets.

Using this turbocharger is straightforward. First, make sure your Subaru WRX or STI engine is turned off and cooled down. Unpack the turbocharger and check that all the parts in the kit are there. Install the turbocharger according to your vehicle's manual, attaching the oil pipe, water pipe, and using the provided gaskets. When starting the engine after installation, let it run for a few minutes to make sure the turbo is getting proper oil and water circulation. As for maintenance, regularly check the oil level in your engine as the turbo relies on proper lubrication. Also, keep an eye on the turbo boost pressure. If you notice any unusual noises or a drop in performance, it's a good idea to have a professional check it out. Avoid revving the engine hard right after starting and before shutting it off to prevent damage to the turbocharger.
