Product Detail

The IAG Competition Series Pitch Stop Mount is a top - notch upgrade for your Subaru. It fits a wide range of models including the 2002 - 2024 WRX, 2004 - 2021 STI, 2004 - 2013 Forester XT, and 2005 - 2009 Legacy GT. This mount is crafted from CNC Machined Billet Aluminum with a black anodized finish to protect against corrosion. It's designed for competition use and can greatly reduce engine and transmission movement during hard acceleration. The 90A durometer bushings in the competition series are much stiffer than Subaru Group N mounts. You'll notice some NVH through the interior because of the higher - durometer bushings. One of the best features is that you can swap the bushings. You can easily change it to a 'Street' version by adding IAG's Street Series 75A durometer bushings, which are a bit stiffer than stock and GROUP N mounts. There are also Race Series solid steel bushings available, which are even stiffer and will transmit more NVH. What comes in the box? A Competition Series Pitch Stop and 90A Red Competition Series Bushings.

Using the IAG Competition Series Pitch Stop Mount is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is in a safe and stable position. Carefully remove the old pitch stop mount and replace it with the new one. Ensure all connections are tight. When it comes to the bushings, you can choose the 90A red competition series bushings for a stiffer feel, or swap them for the Street Series 75A durometer bushings if you want a balance between performance and comfort. As for maintenance, regularly check the mount for any signs of wear or damage. The black anodized finish helps protect against corrosion, but it's still a good idea to keep the mount clean. If you notice any excessive noise or vibration that seems abnormal, check the tightness of the connections or consider the bushing type you're using. Overall, this mount is built to last, but a little care goes a long way.
