Installation
First, clean the application area thoroughly to remove dust, debris, wax, etc.
The 3M tape requires an installation temperature between 70 - 80 degrees. It forms a solid bond after 24 hours and reaches full strength after 72 hours.
Get someone to help you test - fit the vortex generator before starting the actual installation. Mark the correct position. Then, use the cleaner and promoter on the area where the 3M tape will touch the roof.
Remove the ends of the 3M backing tape under the middle fins. For the border, expose enough tape so you can pull it out from under the vortex generator once it's in place.
Put the vortex generator back in the correct position and remove all the 3M backing tape. Press it down firmly.
