Using this Noble duckbill spoiler on your Subaru WRX is easy. First, make sure the application area on your trunk is clean. Remove dust, debris, and wax, and don't use it on a freshly ceramic - coated surface. The 3M adhesive needs an installation temperature between 70 - 80 degrees. It'll have a solid bond after 24 hours and a full bond after 72 hours. Have someone help you test - fit the spoiler before starting the actual install. Mark the proper position. Apply the 3M to the spoiler and expose a bit of the backing tape so you can pull it out later. Put the spoiler in the right place, double - check the bolt alignment, and start the bolts but don't tighten them yet. Then remove all the 3M backing tape. Press down firmly on each section of the spoiler for 30 seconds. Open the trunk, finish tightening the bolts, and put the trunk cover back on. For maintenance, just clean it regularly with a mild car cleaner. Avoid using abrasive materials that could scratch the paint finish.
