Using this IBR Flex Fuel Sensor Kit is straightforward. First, check if your car is a 2008 - 2021 Subaru STI or WRX. Remember, you need to have your car tuned specifically for flex fuel, and it won't work with Cobb Greenspeed Update. When installing, you can do it from the top of the car, so you don't have to crawl under it. Just follow the included wiring harness and connect all the parts like the sensor, bracket, and controller. You can only run a maximum of two out of the Secondary Injection Controller, Flex Fuel Sensor, and Fuel Pressure Sensor kits at the same time because your car has limited TGV plugs. But if you want to use all three, you can wire the SIC for power only and make a custom harness.For maintenance, keep an eye on the wiring. The wiring harness is replaceable (sold separately), so if there are any issues, you can easily swap it out. Also, since it doesn't rely on the rear O2 sensor for 12V power, you don't have to worry about that common failure point.
