Part #: 600SB020R. Sparco Seat Bases are a perfect fit for your vehicle. They use the factory seat mounts on your car's floor, offering a flat surface to easily mount your Sparco seat. These seat bases are designed specifically for your vehicle model, ensuring a 100% bolt - in installation. The 600 Series Sparco seat base is made of 3/16 - inch thick steel, providing a strong and flex - free mount. Besides the standard mounting holes for easy bolt - on installation, it features a wide metal platform. This allows you to custom - mount side mounts directly to the base (drilling required), which is a great option for race vehicles when you want the lowest seat position. The base comes with a black wrinkle powder - coated finish. To properly install a Sparco seat in your vehicle, per seat, you'll need: For Bottom Mount Seats (Street Series Seats): a 600 - series Seat Base, a Track Set (#00493, which allows forward and backward seat adjustment), and a Bottom Mount Hardware Kit (#50001). For Side Mount Seats (Competition Series Seats): a 600 - series Seat Base, a Track Set (#00493), a Side Mount (either steel #004902 or aluminum #600W), and a Side Mount Hardware Kit (#50002). Using your Sparco 600 Series seat base is easy. First, make sure you have all the necessary parts for your seat type. For street series seats, you'll need the seat base, track set, and bottom mount hardware kit. For competition series seats, you'll also need a side mount and side mount hardware kit. Start by using the factory seat mounts on your vehicle's floor. Bolt the seat base onto these mounts. It's a 100% bolt - in installation, so no complex modifications are needed. If you're going for a custom side - mount installation (for race vehicles), you can drill holes in the wide metal platform. Just be careful while drilling. The track set allows you to adjust the seat forward and backward. Make sure to adjust it to your comfortable position. As for maintenance, keep the base clean. Wipe it down regularly to prevent dirt and debris from building up. The black wrinkle powder - coated finish is durable, but if it gets scratched, you might want to touch it up to prevent rust.
