The Subaru XR Red turbocharger features our HTZ 79 compressor wheel in an 84MM Flow Advancement Port compressor cover, delivering massive and reliable power. Similar to the journal - bearing Red, this unit uses our Xona Ball Bearing CHRA. This design boosts durability, especially in low - oil - flow scenarios like road racing or autocross. All Subaru XR turbos come with an oil return flange and a set of - 4 water fittings for custom water feed/return lines. Tirado Custom Coatings offers ceramic coating. A gasket set is included. Here are the key specs: Compressor wheel is 79HTZ with a 65LB per minute flow rating. CW measurements are 57MM inducer/79MM exducer, and TW measurements are 67.7MM inducer/62.2MM exducer. It has an 84MM FAP Cover compressor housing and an FP 10CM Subaru Turbine Housing. The CHRA uses a Xona Rotor Ball Bearing, and the oil line is not included. Note that the 84MM FAP Cover needs a TGV Delete to fit in the stock location. All Forced Performance turbochargers are custom - built to your specs. Build times vary, so we can't guarantee a delivery date. All Subaru turbos with an internal wastegate come with a 1 bar actuator.




Using this turbocharger is a great way to enhance your Subaru's performance. First, make sure you have a TGV Delete if you're using the 84MM FAP Cover to fit it in the stock location. When installing, connect the included oil return flange and use the - 4 water fittings to set up your custom water feed and return lines. Since the oil line isn't included, you'll need to source one that fits your vehicle. If you opt for the ceramic coating from Tirado Custom Coatings, it can add extra protection. Remember, all turbos are built to order, so be patient as the build time can vary. Also, if you choose an internal wastegate, your turbo will come with a 1 bar actuator. For maintenance, regularly check the oil flow, especially if you're using it in road racing or autocross where low oil flow might occur. Keep an eye on the compressor and turbine wheels and make sure the gasket set remains in good condition. If you notice any issues, it's best to consult a professional mechanic.
