Product Detail

Part #: FA - MV3S - C. The main goal of this Killer B Air/Oil Separator is straightforward. As the name suggests, it effectively removes oil, whether in liquid or vapor form, from the vented crankcase gasses. It might sound simple, but there's more to it. With different oil droplet sizes, pressure, and velocity conditions, and varying engine venting characteristics between street cars and high - performance engines, achieving great performance is a challenge. This separator performs flawlessly while having either no negative impact on the engine's operation or even improving it. We aim for the latter. It uses a design without restrictions like media or baffles, ensuring the crankcase and head vents have optimal flow. Under positive boost conditions, it creates a vacuum in the crankcase. This helps to evacuate crankcase gasses better, leading to improved ring seal, reduced oil consumption, and increased power potential. The Killer B separator gets its vacuum source from the turbo inlet, and it's not affected by turbo size. In fact, a larger turbo enhances its function. The drain - back design ensures that any accumulated oil goes back to the oil pan, providing a stable oil supply to the engine. It has six stainless - steel bolts on top for easy inspection and cleaning. There's no heating element as adding it would bring unnecessary weight, complexity, longer install time, and a higher risk of leaks, and it works great without it. This separator meets and exceeds your expectations for how an Air/Oil Separator should work on a Subaru engine. It also features top - notch fabrication. Features: • It uses centrifugal filtration to force suspended oil droplets out of blow - by gasses, a process proven in high - end sports cars and racecars. • Collected oil drains back to the crankcase. • Applies vacuum to the crankcase for better ring seal, less oil consumption, and more power. • No media to clean or replace and no baffles to restrict crankcase flow. • Made of billet and TIG - welded 6061 - T6 Aluminum. • Killer B Motorsport push - lock barb fittings don't need hose clamps. • Motorsport grade hoses are available as an option. • Made in the U.S.A. • Comes with a lifetime warranty.

Using the Killer B Air/Oil Separator is quite easy. First, make sure it's properly installed according to the provided instructions. Connect it to the turbo inlet to get the vacuum source for the crankcase. The push - lock barb fittings are convenient and don't require hose clamps. You can choose to use the optional motorsport grade hoses for better performance. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the separator through the inspection opening on top. It has six stainless - steel bolts that make it easy to open. If you notice a lot of oil accumulation, it might be a sign that the engine is producing more blow - by gasses, but don't worry, the drain - back design will send the oil back to the oil pan. There's no need to clean or replace any media as there aren't any. Also, since it doesn't have a heating element, you don't have to worry about related issues. Just keep an eye on the overall performance of your engine and the separator, and it should serve you well for a long time thanks to the lifetime warranty.
