The Blouch Dominator 1.5XT-R is an upgraded version of our well - loved Dom 2.5XT-R. We're always looking for improvements! Initially crafted for 2.0L customers in the UK, it uses a Garrett GT 56.5mm turbine instead of the Dom 2.5XT-R's 60mm one. This change results in a turbo that spools up a bit faster, though it sacrifices some high - RPM horsepower. The Dom 1.5XT-R features top - notch turbo tech. It has a Blouch billet fully - machined closed die forged 49 lb/min XT - R compressor wheel with advanced aerodynamics. The custom compressor housing is machined in - house for a better fit. It also has a Garrett GT ball bearing center housing and a Blouch custom 10cm2 turbine housing with an adjustable upgrade actuator. With the smaller turbine, there's no need to worry about boost creep. Our turbine housing and wastegate actuator work together to make tuning easier and provide a flat boost curve. It comes complete with turbo mounting gaskets, an oil feed restrictor, a braided stainless steel turbo oil feed line, an oil drain tube, coolant pipes, banjo bolts, and copper washers. Only available at BPT! Application: Subaru WRX/STi. Horsepower: 480HP. Specs: Garrett Ball bearing CHRA, 56.5mm Turbine Wheel, 71mm XT Compressor wheel, 49lbs per min, 8cm or 10cm Exhaust housing available.

Using the Blouch Dominator 1.5XT-R turbocharger is straightforward. First, make sure your Subaru WRX or STi is turned off and cooled down. Then, install the turbocharger using the provided mounting gaskets, oil feed restrictor, braided stainless steel oil feed line, oil drain tube, coolant pipes, banjo bolts, and copper washers. Ensure all connections are tight and secure. When starting your vehicle, let it idle for a short time to allow the oil to circulate properly. During normal use, avoid sudden and extreme acceleration right after starting the engine. For maintenance, regularly check the oil level and quality. The oil is crucial for the proper functioning of the ball bearings in the turbocharger. Replace the oil as recommended by your vehicle's manual. Also, inspect the turbine and compressor wheels for any signs of damage or debris. If you notice any unusual noises or a decrease in performance, it's best to have the turbocharger checked by a professional.
