SubiSpeed Headlight Smoked Overlays
It's amazing how a simple overlay can completely change the look of your vehicle. By applying these smoked overlays to the side of SubiSpeed headlights, you can eliminate the bright orange sidemarker and make the large lens less prominent. These overlays cover both the side and top of the headlight lens, giving your car a sleek and stylish upgrade.
NOTE: These overlays only fit SubiSpeed headlights.
INSTALLATION
For installation, keep a hair dryer or heat gun handy. First, wash your hands and clean the application area. Prepare some soapy water (a drop of dish soap or a little hand soap in a cup or bottle of water, with more water than soap). You can apply this to the back of the overlay and the lens. This will let you move the overlay around and squeegee out air bubbles once it's in the right place. We use our fingers to avoid scratching the material.
Apply the overlay and align the larger part first. Then, check the smaller top area. Once you're fully satisfied, start pushing out water and air bubbles. You can make small adjustments and guide the vinyl to the exact position you want, especially with a bit of heat. Just be careful not to burn the vinyl or your fingers. Work towards the end of the top portion and push down any vinyl that goes over the edge of the lens.
