Part #: TR - TS1012. Tomioka Racing's Twin Scroll Turbo line is a dream come true for die - hard Subaru enthusiasts! It offers an efficient and cost - effective solution to replace or upgrade your existing twin scroll setup. In today's market, twin scroll turbos are scarce, but the Tomioka Turbo is a direct bolt - on option. It features a USDM - length twin - scroll downpipe and delivers more boost power than the standard VF series turbo. With its TD06 housing and twin - scroll design, it significantly improves spool time compared to the standard TD06 turbo. Kit Contents: Twin Scroll Turbo, Twin Scroll Manifold, 3 - Bolt Uppipe, Twin Scroll USDM Downpipe, and Bracket. Turbo Characteristics: Bearing Type: Journal; Flange Type: Standard Subaru 5 - Bolts; Compressor Wheel - In: 51 mm, Ex: 58 mm; Turbine Wheel - In: 68 mm, Ex: 56 mm; Actuator: 1 Bar / 14.7 psi; Turbine Housing: 8 cm2; Max. Power: 500 HP.

Using this Tomioka twin scroll turbo kit is straightforward. First, make sure your Subaru WRX (2002 - 2007) or STI (2004 - 2014) is parked safely and the engine is cool. Remove the old turbo components carefully according to the vehicle's manual. Then, install the new parts from the kit one by one, starting with the twin scroll manifold, followed by the turbo and the pipes. When it comes to the bolts, make sure they are tightened properly. As for maintenance, regularly check the turbo for any signs of damage or leaks. Keep an eye on the oil levels as the turbo needs proper lubrication. Also, after long - term use, it's a good idea to have a professional mechanic inspect the turbo system. Remember, don't push the turbo beyond its 500 HP limit to avoid any potential damage.
